As of February 17, 2011, the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) made it official: the Consumer Price Index (CPI) capped rate increase which the USPS requested has been approved. This should go into effect on April 17 unless the Board of Governors take into consideration the revised IRS tax filing deadline of April 18... |

It didn’t take long. In December, 2010, Postmaster General Pat Donahoe met with his Executive Leadership Team to develop the structure that will carry the postal service forward. It is very comprehensive and will be implemented over the coming year. Pat initiated his changes stating that this anouncement represents an “important update on our senior management structure.” PART TWO: The recent Mailers’ Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) Leadership Committee meeting, and other MTAC meetings during the week of February 14, 2010, demonstrated a sea change amongst the top management of the USPS. There seems to be a genuine effort to work with customers and service providers for commom solutions with a greater recognition of client needs... |
